Professional, thorough and trustwothy! Some years ago we had water egress around a velux window. We tried two other companies before Salter Roofing. One, remaining nameless didn’t even bother to check, just said it was due to the window being open. Salter Roofing undertook a professional inspection, a comprehensive quote and a guarantee for their work. No issues since, wish we used them first off. Since then we’ve used them to replace lost, broken slates on the roof. Wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere now.

Slate room repair Slater Roofing provided a quick response to my request to replace a number of slates that had slipped. Whilst they were here they noticed a few I had not seen so they replaced them too at no extra cost. They were competitively priced and I was very happy with their service and would recommend them.

Excellent service and quality of work – Highly Recommended Excellent service and quality of work. Replaced dining room and kitchen roofs and installed new Velux windows. Salter Roofing put right a catalogue of errors the builders made when they put the original roofs on and windows in. When Lee pointed out all the faults, I can see why our roofs were leaking. If you want a job done properly, call in the people who specialise in the work, especially not builders. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Salter Roofing.

Lee was quick and efficient with great communication from initial quote through to the job being completed. It started out as a simple felt replacement for our flat roof, but Lee spotted other issues and made them all better than new. I was always apprehensive about roofing jobs and the issues that could be uncovered, but with a team of professionals on call Lee was able to iron out the problems quickly rather than it dragging on. The job we had done was a small flat roof and over time beams and wood had become rotten, but it now looks like better than ever. Lee had designed the Fatra membrane coming over the top of the extension brickwork and my initial concerns as to how it would look have been blown away. It is sealed and dressed beautifully and the extension now looks a month old, as opposed to 40 years old, value has been added to our house. Thank you to everyone at Salter Roofing who worked on it!

Quick temporary repair during a storm, which is very good. I called upon Salter roofing when my property was leaking during a storm, within 3hours, Steve had a team of two effecting a Temporary repair and will return after Christmas to effect a lasting repair. As you cannot ask more then this I have given a five Star rating.

We have a small building firm based in Newton Abbot and are currently working in Exmouth. We’ve been between different roofing contractors in the past few years and we needed to try out someone we hadn’t used before. We decided to use someone local to the area and Salters were the first choice and I’m pleased to say that we have been very impressed with their professionalism, punctuality, communication and the quality standard of their work and staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Salters in the future for all our roofing and lead work needs.

Excellent Roofing business in Exeter. Excellent local business. I needed some tiles repairing, and a gutter replacing. Not being a very big job, I was concerned it may take a while to get booked in. Steve came quickly, assessed the Job, a small scaffold was constructed shortly after(which was required due to the location of the gutter), and the work completed quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended.

Garage extension roof The roof of the extension to our garage failed – with it sinking in the middle to become a bird bath popular with pigeons! The beams underneath were mouldy and spider riden. Lee identified a cost effective solution – and resourcefully included in the design, a much needed increase to the roof height. His skilled and personable colleagues Pete and Seb worked hard to remove the old roof – doing so quickly and without fuss. The customised new roof they carefully fitted and installed, is sleek and a perfect fit – ideal in every respect. Glad to have found Salter Roofing and look forward to working together again soon.

Flat Roof Replacement Salter Roofing did an excellent job replacing my small flat roof. The job was not straightforward as there is a skylight in the middle of the roof and, leadwork around the perimeter. Also, tarmac was discovered under the old felt and had to be removed. The three personnel directly involved were friendly and efficient and pricing was reasonable. I have no hesitation in recommending Salter Roofing.

Highly recommended! Salter roofing have just replaced our roof of old asbestos tiles. This was done by trained staff who are very professional, trustworthy and easy to have around. The new roof is of a very high standard and the new insulation checked by building control.

From initial contact to job completion, communication was excellent with Salter roofing. They did an amazing job on my flat roof and lead work. They found a few problems when the old flat roof was removed, which they overcame using their expertise and skill, they worked very hard.
